RADIN4 VARIABLES
- Variable names in alphabetical order -
AIRMAS: A measure of the pathway length that solar radiation travels
through the atmosphere.
AVERAD: Total visible radiation measured with a horizontal sensor above
the canopy. Identical with RADSOL and RADTOP(2,IHR) in MAIN.
EVAL: Potential diffuse NIR radiation at the earth's surface.
FB1: Ratio of potential direct beam radiation to potential beam and
diffuse radiation on the horizontal for VIS.
FB2: Ratio of potential direct beam radiation to potential beam and
diffuse radiation on the horizontal for NIR.
FBEAM1(1,IHR): Ratio of the actual direct beam radiation over actual
beam and diffuse radiation for visible wavelengths.
FBEAM1(2,IHR): Ratio of the actual direct beam radiation over actual
beam and diffuse radiation for NIR wavelengths.
IPOT: Index indicating method of calculation for RATIO(IHR),=1: fixed
input of RATION and RATIOD,=0: calc in RADIN4 for every hour.
POTBM1: Potential direct beam visible radiation at the earth's surface.
POTBM2: Potential direct beam NIR radiation at the earth's surface.
POTDIF: Potential diffuse visible radiation at the earth's surface.
POTNIR: Potential beam and diffuse NIR radiation at the earth's surface.
POTVIS: Potential beam and diffuse visible radiation at the earth's
surface.
RADABV(1,IHR): Visible radiation flux density above the canopy
including direct beam and diffuse.
RADABV(2,IHR): NIR radiation flux density above the canopy
including direct beam and diffuse.
RATIO: Ratio of actual total solar radiation and potential total
solar radiation including VIS and NIR, direct and diffuse.
RATIOD: Input variable for ratio during the day.
RATION: Input variable for ratio at night.
WATABS: Solar radiation in the NIR absorbed by atmospheric water.
